This site is a request service. People in and around New York use it to ask for a consultation about their hair or scalp, and each request is passed to a provider in the area. The information on these pages is general. It explains what different types of consultation usually involve and what to ask, so you can go into a conversation with a provider feeling prepared.
It is not medical advice, and it does not replace a doctor or dermatologist.
How requests are handled
Each request contains the details you typed: your name, email, phone, the service you chose and a short message. With your consent, those details are passed to a local provider, who uses them to contact you about a consultation.
From that point, you deal with the provider directly. They explain what a consultation involves and what it costs. See the how it works page for each step.

The pages on this site describe hair and scalp consultations in general terms. They do not account for your health, history or the medicines you take, and they are no substitute for an assessment. Only a licensed provider who has talked with you can decide what is suitable.
Milkreferring Scalp Consult is not a clinic and does not treat anyone. It passes consultation requests to a provider near New York.
